No other grocer in the Rio Grande Valley has achieved the tradition that the family-owned Sahadi Specialty Foods has become over the years. Established in 1973 in McAllen TX, Sahadi Foods continues to specialize in a great variety of imported specialty foods, wines and beer, and those special things that any gourmet cook or gourmand would appreciate. Today, the Sahadi Group includes retail and wholesale trade, as well as the Sahadi Cafe. The Cafe, earlier known as Le Bistro Cafe, is the place where customers can find many of the foods found in the store available on the menu. The Cafe serves Mediterranean-style lunch and dinner specials. Live music is on hand during the weekends to add to the ambience and the relaxing atmosphere often found in the Cafe.
